Why yes, we are just rolling in fiction this week – three posts in three days!
Today’s addition to the pile comes courtesy of Finabin (really hoping I got the right username for her!), who emailed me asking about an old M7 fic of mine called I Spy. I’d say enjoy…but it’s about homophobia in law enforcement and therefore not one of my nicer stories, so some of you may find it less than enjoyable. It does have the happiest ending I could give it, though.
And before anyone asks: No, I’ve never had an idea for a sequel to this story. I won’t deny it needs one, but I don’t have one for it.
I haven’t been able to get a whole lot of anything done lately because a virus happened at our house, but I thought I’d start posting the next part of the Finders Keepers series, which is all about Family Business. We’re starting off with Pepper deciding to solve a problem so that Tony won’t try to solve it himself. Enjoy!
(remember, links no longer open in a new tab/window – for that you’ll need to center-click on the link, or right-click and choose an option from the popup menu.)
Years ago in answer to a challenge, I cranked out an M7 story called Reborn which became a three-story series – because more challenges happened, mostly. Much thanks to fadamaja for letting me know I hadn’t already posted this story/series to AO3. It’s up now as one three-chaptered story because I thought it would be more convenient to read that way.
Oh, and I’m going to add the same warning here that I did on the story itself just now: This is Bad!Buck, displaying a facet of his personality – and his complicated relationship with his old buddy Chris – that isn’t always readily apparent in his character. I know, I know, some of you don’t see it in him and that’s fine, but that also means this story may not be to your liking.
Or, to put it more plainly: If you don’t like seeing Buck act like a jerk, don’t read Reborn. 😉
