Yes, I know it’s been a while. But I have something for you that I know some of you didn’t think you were ever going to get: the BobsWorld series has been updated, and the story Bob’s Dance Lessons is now finished. Woo-hoo!
For those of you who don’t know what that is, it’s a series predicated on the idea that Bob the Builder is a real person living in a real world. I’ve been told by a few people that I was the first person to ever do this, but no idea if that’s true or not. The series started because of my kids, middle-school aged at the time, who started actively pitching ideas at me after a holiday Bob the Builder video binge and demanding that I write the stories. And so BobsWorld was born, and eventually galloped off on the back of a rabid jackalope the way most of my stories tend to do.
And yes, for those of you who’ve read the Prologue and/or the series and wondered: I can’t stand Thomas the Tank Engine, it’s like Peyton Place with trains.
For those of you who don’t know what Peyton Place is, replace that reference with Twilight and know that I feel old now 😉
